A Minimal Coastal Home in Sydney

There is definitely a nip in the air and I am so loving this weather. Usually it’s a bit warmer at this time of the year, but this year it is still cooler. It should feel like spring, but when I was walking down the streets to my pottery class, it felt more like autumn. More so, because I came back from the heat and humidity of Indian weather – as if right after summer, the weather has cooled down and is getting ready for fall. 🙂

When it comes about weather and outdoorsy life, no other place can beat Sydney in Australia. This home is no different. The family of 4 has renovated this 80’s fixer upper to a lovely, open family home. I love the organic look of it and how minimal and clutter free this home is, despite two little kids. The partners Simon and Katie run a Sydney-based furniture company called The Wood Room that manufactures and sales handcrafted furniture. To read more, please check Homes to Love.

The best part is the outdoor space. Such a lovely space for the kids to enjoy while the parents can relax. What do you think?
