A Historic House In Sydney That Is A True Labor Of Love

The story behind this historic house is enchanting. This was a dilapidated house built in around 1830s in western Sydney. The present owners Jennine Leonarder-Collins and Peter Collins bought this house in 2012 and since then they have lovingly and very thoughtfully restored the house. They even did a major structural change like adding an orangery for symmetry and also so that the history speaks for itself. Let’s have a look.

I love how the owners have added an IKEA Sofa with Bemz slip covers along with all the traditional furniture, marble and wood.

A true labor of love indeed. I hope the family lives here for many more years to come and make wonderful memories.
