Hello All, It’s a lovely glorious Monday. While soaking in the Sun and relaxing I realized I felt guilty that early in morning I am taking a break already. After researching for a while, I realized this is indeed a trend in today’s society. It feels odd and weird to us to take a break during a busy weekday, unless you are sick. However, taking a break often in your regular busy days is so important. Research shows that breaks are important to refuel our energy and enhance our well-being. I must tell you though, you don’t really need to go on a vacation to take a break. While a vacation sounds lovely, that might not be a reality for many of us, especially during this pandemic. Just a 5-10 minute break from your regular work increases your productivity. So go ahead, and take that much needed break without any guilt. You can relax on your bed or on your arm chair, or just walk the block.
