Hello, today is April Fool’s day. The Sun is however not fooling around, with gorgeous sunshine making me feel happy as usual. Yesterday I bought a big branch from the farmer’s market. For the last few days I was in a mood of re-decorating for Easter (as I always do for every summer or every occasion), however I wanted to do something minimal and fuss free. I had been decorating a bare branch with fake eggs that I bought in Germany and kept with me for the last so many years. Unfortunately I couldn’t find them any more this year (my suspicion goes to my husband because he re-organized the shed a few months ago), so the decoration had to be really minimal this time. I had some leftover egg shaped chocolates with strings and I used them to decorate the branch. And voila, the huge branch really looks sculptoral in my living room. The branch was just 3 Euros and the egg-chocolates were a gift. In fact you don’t even need to buy a bare branch if you can go foraging. So much joy from such simplicity. These 10 pictures below show you do not need a lot and definitely do not need to spend a lot to re-decorate for a Easter (for that matter for any occasion). Just some branches or twigs, some eggs or a bunny. Enjoy 🙂

If you ask me, my favorite is number 6, the one with dyed egg. It’s a very simple one, but also brings some color – color of spring. Which one did you like the most? I would love to know. Enjoy styling your house for Easter.
