When I lived in the US, I used to see a lot of advertisement related to Puerto Rico tourism. While I didn’t understand the Spanish, I loved how they rolled the ‘r’ in Puerto Rico. It fascinated me and I practised and tried to pronounce it the way I heard it in the advertisements. I dreamt of visting this place one day. After I moved to Europe, I somehow forgot about Puerto Rico until recently when I saw this ocean front villa near San Juan, capital of Puerto Rico.
I am travel buff, travel is my life. I grew up with an atlas and not able to travel doe to the lockdown is a severe punishment to me. However, no one can take away my freedom from a virtual tour. I can travel to far away, remote and difficult to reach places in my mind. And I am grateful for the advancement of technology, especially internet, that pictures and information about places are within an easy reach. This ocean front villa is my virtual escapade. We all need a break once in a while, and while and till you can not physically travel, you can accompany me in my virtual travel. Oh, the views from the living room!
Summer is almost approaching and we are still not sure about the situation, but the images of sun, sand and sea is enticing. My heart skips a bit when I imagine myself on this villa that I found in Airbnb.
The beach is literally your patio. It seems just a step outside and you are on the beach. What I love most is the hammock though. I can imagine myself on that hammock all day long listening to the sound of the waves and feeling the cool breeze on my face. I don’t know if I would even gor for snorkelling or swimming, perhaps if I have relaxed enough on that hammock, yes. 🙂
