Hello and a happy Thursday. It’s not very sunny today, but it’s quite warm, but not warm enough to create discomfort. This is the perfect weather for me. I can sit outside for hours without feeling cold or sweating. There is some cloud and I can hear the birds chirping. I can also feel the cool breeze on my face. It’s relaxing, it’s soothing, It’s zen. Research says nature is healing and there is no doubt about it. I am fortunate to have a small garden in my house that is surrounded by giant oak trees (outside my property) . As much as I complain that I have such a small garden with not an efficient layout, the fact is with a little bit of creativity, so much can be done with just a sliver of space. Here are ten such amazing inspiration to create your own zen.

I know not all of us have gardens or backyards, but perhaps just a tiny terrace or a balcony in an apartment. That’s why I have deliberately mentioned ‘outdoor’ in the title instead of ‘garden’. And that’s why I have also included a couple of balconies or terraces. I know that some of us are not fortunate to have any outdoor space at all and I intend to create another post just for them, another day. But for today, I will appreciate my little garden. And if you have a little garden or patio or a balcony (or even a large outdoor space), perhaps it’s time to get creative and get some inspiration from these amazing outdoor spaces. Enjoy 🙂
